Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this K source replacement side view mirror. This is going to be a direct replacement for the driver's side factory mirror on your 1998 through 2005 Ford Ranger. This is modeled after the Ranger's original look and fit so you really shouldn't be able to tell that it's a replacement mirror. Should look like it came with your Ranger right from the factory so you don't have to worry about that piece together from the junkyard sort of look this is going to be fully integrated with the rest of your Ranger to give you that nice complete look. Again, it is gonna be very easy to get installed.

It's got the same footprint and mounting points as your factory mirror so you're not gonna have to drill any new holes or anything like that. This is going to have the manual mirror face adjustment so you can adjust the angle of the mirror to fit your application and best angle for you. This is an OE grade quality product, so and it is gonna be good quality materials. The front of the glass is plated with a reflective chrome so it is gonna give you a nice, clear image. It is a flat lens like most driver's side mirrors so it is going to represent true object size behind you as you're changing lanes backing up, that sort of thing.

It does have a breakaway design so the mirror's gonna fold in on itself if you we're to hit a parking post or the side of your garage or something along those lines. It's gonna fold in to try and help absorb some of that impact and deter breakage. But it does have a nice durable plastic housing so it is gonna hold up well for you. Now for those of you who do need a little bit more reassurance that this is going to work for your vehicle you can see this is going to replace the original equipment number that you see on the screen there. So if you're going through your owner's manual or when you take off the original mirror if you see that number anywhere you can trust this is gonna be exactly what you need.
